The S/D scanner is a dual depth (1 录' or 3录') pinless, capacitance-type. S/D uses the relationship between the dielectric properties and the moisture content of the wood to produce a reading of moisture which is the average value of the area between the surface and the maximum penetration depth. Since Pinless Meters leave no marks, they preferred when testing finished products such as cabinet doors, table tops and furniture finishing. S/D measurement range is 5-99% depends on species. Temperature correction is not necessary. Comes with instructions, cash card and carry the bag. Requires 9 V battery (battery included).
